  • Every Crosstrek sold new in Canada has Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive, and the 2026 models also have X-MODE and 220 mm of ground clearance as standard.[2][3][4]
  • Canadian trim names differ from US ones. From 2021 to 2023 the Canadian Outdoor had the 2.5 L engine, while the Canadian Sport kept the 2.0 L.[1][9][10]
  • The plug-in hybrid was sold in Canada from 2020 to 2023; in the US it was limited to states using California’s emission rules.[1][8][11]
  • Third-generation Crosstreks for Canada come from Japan. The Indiana-built Wilderness was paused for 2026 because of Canadian counter-tariffs on US-made vehicles.[12][13][16]
