About GarageMap

GarageMap is a directory of 156 independent car repair, tire and auto body shops in Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere and Okotoks, Alberta — and a way to ask several of them for a price at once.

What you can do here

• Find a shop. Every listing shows the services the shop offers, where it is on the map, its website, and — where we hold them — its address, phone number and opening hours. Browsing needs no account.
• Ask for quotes once. Describe the job and your vehicle a single time. The request goes to the local shops that do that kind of work, and the ones that can take it reply with their own price. You compare, and you choose — or choose nobody.

Prices on a quote are the shop’s, set by the shop for your request. They are sent to you and are not published on any page. How our price tables and dates are built explains the few prices that are published, and where they come from.

What it costs

Browsing the directory and requesting quotes are free for drivers. Any work you agree to is paid to the shop, on the shop’s terms. Shops join and are listed for free, with no listing fees (for shop owners).

No shop pays to be listed, and no shop can pay for a higher place in a list. Lists are ordered by name, by distance, or by how many of the site’s services a shop offers — never by payment. We do not show star ratings or reviews.

How listings are checked

We compile each listing from the shop’s own website and public business information, and shop owners can claim their listing and keep its services up to date. A listing is not an endorsement.
